Dirrrty

It is about 2:30 pm.
I didn't wake up until almost 11 am.
I am still wearing my pajamas.
I have not brushed my teeth yet.
Or my hair.

Next up for me: make myself presentable, go to the library, and go to the coffee shop.

*****
H and I went out to dinner last night with a friend (my law school friend) and then went to a movie. When we hang out with our friend, I feel like most of the conversation is the friend and I chatting like crazy with H chiming in occasionally. My friend and I both have the same conversation style of talking really fast and interrupting each other all the time, which I enjoy. H is more of a sit-back-and-listen kind of guy, which I appreciate, but sometimes I need the Gilmore Girls style banter.

We went to see Little Miss Sunshine, which we all LOVED. I laughed so hard that I cried, my friend said his sides hurt from laughing so much, and H was still laughing when getting ready for bed. I actually think I could watch Little Miss Sunshine again, which is not something I can say about many other movies.

i want to see that movie.
i was just at best buy with my husband he said "i hear this is the next big thing like karaoke revolution", I turned to see that he was referring to Guitar Hero. I was able act like I already knew all about that thanks to you. He is so much more "up" on electronic and game things than me so it was sweet to have one up on him.

I had the same kind of morning/day!!! Those are the best, if you ask me - but since you didn't I'll shut up now! ;-)

On my list of movies to see! Thanks now I even want to see it more!

I have you beat, as I didn't get up until around 11:30 on Saturday, and stayed in my pajamas until after 4:00. I could justify it by explaining that I didn't go to bed until around 2:30, but the fact is I probably would have done the same even if I'd been asleep by midnight. Sometimes you just need a lazy day.

I LOVED Little Miss Sunshine. And I totally talk like a Gilmore, too. I had a similarly fast-talking friend in college, and when people nearby observed us in conversation, it sometimes looked like their heads were going to explode. I say it's their own fault if they can't keep up!

I had the same morning except for the toothbrush thing. I cannot go more than 10 minutes after waking up without brushing my teeth.

It's an addiction.

Much like my addiction to putting wigs on my cats.

Must. See. "Little Miss Sunshine." It needs to get out of the theaters so it can come out on DVD, and then I'll be able to see it. I'm so lazy about getting to movies in the theater. Too many annoyances.

On Saturday, I slept in til 10 and wandered around the house in my robe until 2. Then I soaked in the tub for an hour. My sweetie was not amused, but dang it, sometimes it's necessary. I actually put on pants in time for dinner, so what's the difference? I think he was just jealous he didn't think of it first.

I'm like that with my friends too. Which is probably why the boyfriend often opts to sit out such gatherings.

And also! I want to see Little Miss Sunshine like it is no one's business. We went to see The Science of Sleep...and I give it a "meh"...awesome visuals (Michel Gondry - of Eternal Sunshine) but the writing wasn't great. Depressing, really.

Gotta see that movie. We all know Steve Carell is a genius and I love Greg Kinnear too.

You deserve a lazy day. No mass? Me either. I went to St. Mary Mattress, as my Grandma used to say.

I love lazy days like that... lately, I only get those if I have a sick day. Blah. That's not fun.

So glad you loved the movie, too. I don't think I've laughed that hard at a movie for years.

And my sister and I talk like that... at least, our pace is like that. My husband says it hurts his brain to listen to us talk.

Princess, I hope you gave him a hard time. "Everyone know about Guitar Hero, honey." Did you get it?

Spaw, it was a good day. It's good to be lazy sometimes. Ok, most weekends.

Stefanie, there were a whole group of us in law school who would have these super fast conversations, all interrupting each other. I really miss that.

Jenny, normally I can't go more than a few minutes without brushing my teeth after waking up, but for some reason on Sunday I was just not in the mood. And I love your wig addiction.

Lawyerish, I prefer movies at home, but H prefers them at the theater. I am willing to occasionally compromise.

Cipher, if you had pants on for dinner, then I don't see the problem. Actually, I think you could have stayed in your pjs for dinner.

Christine, that sleep movie looks like something I imagine someone on LSD would like.

Prep, yeah, we missed mass this week. I don't know what happened. I like "St. Mary Mattress." I am going to have to use that. (I will say, "St. Mary Mattress, copyright Preppygirl's grandma.")

Ma'am, I'm glad you liked the movie too.
