I am uninspired. But will that stop me from writing something and publishing it for the internet to see? No.
Perhaps you are wondering what is in my queue for Blockbuster Online movies? The first ten items are:
1. Or, My Treasure - I have no idea what this is.
2. Numbers, Season 1, Disk 2 - Shut up. I am watching these while working out.
3. Syriana - Parts of this will be too scary for me to watch.
4. Network - I think I have seen this before but would like to see it again.
5. Numbers, Season 1, Disk 3 - I have optimistic views on how much I will work out. I will probably not need this disk quite so soon.
6. Walk the Line
7. History of Violence
8. King Kong
9. Numbers, Season 1, Disk 4 - You get the picture.
10. Mystery Science Theater 3000, vol. 1 - NERDS.
I am kind of embarrassed by the above list. And yet, I will continue to share by listing some songs I have put on H's iPod Nano for my listening enjoyment which make H wish that I would just get my own freaking iPod. (I am considering the Shuffle, but since I always just use H's Nano whenever I want, I don't know if I really need it.) Ok, here's the list.
1. Eternal Flame - The Bangles
2. Sick of Myself - Matthew Sweet
3. Girlfriend - Matthew Sweet
4. Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon & Garfunkel
5. Bathwater - No Doubt
6. Rock DJ - Robbie Williams
7. Manic Monday - The Bangles
Actually, there are several more Bangles' songs on the iPod, and H hates all of them. And yet the shortness of this list makes me want to go out and purchase some Justin Timberlake and Kelly Clarkson so that I can really get my dorky groove on during my morning bus rides.

Movie #3: I really liked Syriana, but I'm in the minority among my friends.
Music #3: I've been grooving to this song lately myself - it rocks. Love the guitar.
OMG, I freaking LOOOOOOVE Matthew Sweet. I just found a CD at the used bookstore for $1 and I admit I haven't given it a proper chance yet, but all his old stuff, totally swoonie. Plus, I've met him. And I've had a crush on him for about twelve years! AND, he's from Lincoln, just down the road from me.
PS) Bangles! Rock! Susannah has a project with M.Sweet.
Mystery Science Theater 3000. A girl after my own heart. The shorts are the BEST.
I've never seen "Numbers." Is it actually good?
I've enjoyed numbers... altho I'm sure aot of it must be gibberish
Ooh! AS and I are currently choosing between Netflix and Blockbuster Online. Have you been happy with Blockbuster? Do your movies come quickly?
The distribution center for Netflix is in Queens, so I'm not sure Blockbuster can beat the speed in NYC.
There is no need for shame when it comes to Bangles love. I'm just sayin'. ;)
A) Numb3rs ROCKS
2) so does Matthew Sweet
can we talk about how much I love Walk The Line? Because, I LOVE WALK THE LINE! I would so marry that movie. Good list.
by the way, my "word verification" is ujgli. is it trying to tell me I'm ugly? Ouch.
The fingernails part of "Syriana" is, in particular, too scary to watch. You've been warned.
Also, much like Marmite Breath, I picked up an old Matthew Sweet album at Goodwill recently, and I love it! I knew only a few of his songs, so I figured it was a crapshoot whether the one album I found at Goodwill would be good, but I am pleased. (The one I have is "100% Fun," in case you're curious.)
We watch Numbers, despite being constantly amazed at how formulaic (sp?) it is. Notice how there is ALWAYS an algorithm for any problem. This has led us to many cheezy jokes at home. "How long will it take to make the pizza?" "Well, according to the pizza making algorithm, it will be T- 7 minutes."
I have a highly embarrassing story that involves Matthew Sweet. It's one of those nights in my life that I'm trying hard to forget and when I hear his music and it reminds me, it makes me nauseous.
Which sucks because up until that night, I was a big fan.
Oh, the CD I got was In Reverse. 100% fun is a great CD, Stefanie!
