Words Cannot Explain

Can I tell you how much I love this little spray bottle that I found in my mother-in-law's kitchen?

Can anyone explain how this label might be helpful? I love my mother-in-law, but there are just some things I'll never understand.

Maybe if you want to make your hair stiff and repellant to insects at the same time?

BAH! That's hysterical.

What gets me is that she would bother to carefully create and apply a label for this bottle when the contents are still in question. If I'm getting out the label maker, it's to label something that I am damn sure of.

Wow... she even used a label maker to ensure that you wouldn't get confused! :)

I love those scratch your head moments at your MIL's! :)

Maybe that was part of a fun party game she created before you were around?

That's odd...But not as odd as something like "Rat poison OR sugar". At least both things are beauty products...right?

I'm just impressed she owns a label maker.

Those aren't exactly inter-changable items. I can't imagine getting out of the bath and spraying my body with hairspray or attempting to style my hair with what is basically baby oil. What an odd woman!

Could be worse. It could be "Hairspray and/or Skin-so-soft"

Maybe... she put on the first label, for the hairspray, and then accidentally filled the bottle with skin-so-soft, and so had to make a second label to rectify the situation.

Or maybe... she only uses skin-so-soft in the summer and only uses hairspray in the winter, so the bottle serves double duty.

Really though, you got me on this one.

well, this is ...vexing. much like the Church of England is.

"Death or cake!?"

"ahh, cake please."

Not quite Sophie's Choice calibre, but compelling nonetheless.

I'm gonna say...this is a travel bottle that should only be filled with either hairspray or skin-so-soft, because you know, once the hairspray is done, the only logical thing that could go back in there is more hairspray, or, duh, skin-so-soft.

I myself have quite a few "body spray or windex" bottles, so I completely get this.

Perhaps it's where she hides her vodka?

Heh...that made me laugh. But she is far ahead of me in that she actually does label the bottles...

Both may be used to kill bugs, especially of the winged variety. Ever sprayed hairspray or SSS on a wasp? Gets them every time.

Anyway, that's my guess.

Yeah, the fact that she made a label is the best. Me, I would have just used a sharpie.

Or not bothered to label it at all.

AWESOME!

I love that she took the time to LABEL THE BOTTLE for both options. I'm quite literally cracking up.
