I was trying to come up with something quick to blog about, so I did a search for some questions to answer. My favorite list of questions is the following:
1. Have you ever had an addiction?
2. Are you afraid of the dark?
3. What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
4. Have you ever been to the circus?
5. What do you think of North Korea testing nuclear weapons?
WTF? Who came up with these questions? Whose mind works like this? Addiction - scared of the dark - ice cream - circus- NUCLEAR WEAPONS. Awesome.
So do I have to answer the questions now? I will anyway.
1. I don't think I have ever had an addiction. In college, I smoked a few times and really started to like it, so I stopped before I could get addicted. It scared me that I started to crave cigarettes.
2. No, I am not afraid of the dark. Unless I have just watched a scary movie. And I have a very low tolerance for scary. If there is any suspense at all, I deem the whole movie scary.
3. My standard answer for favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip. I also love anything super chocolatey and rich.
4. I went to the circus when I was in maybe 1st grade. I remember being scared that the trapeze artists would fall. That's about it. Do you guys remember that show in the 80s when stars would compete in circus acts? That was a quality show.
5. I am not a fan of North Korea testing nuclear weapons.

1. Caffiene. Serious addiction.
2. Yes, if I'm alone.
3. Triple chocolate at the Chocolate Bar
4. Yes. Not impressed. Clowns freak me out.
5. North Korea is testing nuclear weapons?
1. I think I might have been addicted to gas station capuccino in 2000.
2. No, but I don't see as well in the dark as I used to, so maybe I'm "afraid" I will walk into something and stub my toe.
3. Peanut butter cup (and not the WHITE peanut butter cups)
4. In elementary school
5. I would prefer they did not test nuclear weapons (are some people, other than possibly the leaders of North Korea, pleased about this?)
1. Beside blogging, not really.
2. Not afraid of the dark, but at times afraid in the dark.
3. Anything chocolate!
4. A "real" circus once, and I've seen Cirque du Soleil many times, but that's not a "real" circus (no animals!)
5. Bad
My standard answer for #3 is mint chocolate chip as well, though oddly, I rarely order or buy it lately, so maybe I need to rethink this.
I agree with Jenny on #4--clowns are creepy, though I have been to the circus once or twice. And yes, I remember Circus of the Stars, but just barely. Red on "That Seventies Show" mentioned it once, and that made it come rushing back to me unexpectedly.
1. I used to smoke too (socially) but I quit several years ago.
2. Not afraid of the dark but I prefer some type of night light.
3. Ice cream flavor would be anything chocolatey with NO nuts involved. I do really like "birthday cake" flavor too.
4. Have been to the circus a few times but not in years. Circus of the Stars was a classic.
5. Nuclear ANYTHING scares me.
So what did you think of The Office?
1. Caffeine, in the form of diet soda. Can't live without it.
2. I don't mind the dark, although I get a little freaky when I'm alone in a house -- in the apartment, I'm generally ok. In a house? Too much empty space in which scary things could lurk.
3. Cold Stone Creamery's Birthday Cake or Cake Batter or whatever. With brownies smushed in. DEAR GOD.
4. Not a fan of the circus.

5. Not a fan of NK testing nukes, either.
1.still smoking
2.most of the time no. But every once in while I freak myself out
3.soft serve vanilla
4.long long time ago dont really remember anything but the motorcycles in the sphere.
5.stolen from pgirl "Nuclear ANYTHING scares me."
1- My addiction is food. I don't know why I don't weight 500 lbs. I thank God for my metabolism. I just stole some cream cheese from the lunch room fridge and am eating chips and salsa with it.
2. Oh God. I didn't sleep for a week after I watched Se7en, R! So I'm with you on the low tolerance for scary. I still sleep with my light on.
3. I don't like ice cream. The end.
4. Yes. My whole childhood. Mexican circus. Now I think of it and I shiver. Too weird.
5. Not good.
1. Not really...except my baby blanket. I had it until I was 26 *cough*
2. I used to be scared that a witch lived under my bed when I was little. As a teen if I watched Unsolved Mysteries alone the music would make me freak out.
3. Vanilla with Peanut Butter Cups mixed in or Cookie Dough.
4. I don't like the way they treat the animals.
5. Not a fan.
1. no addictions unless you count when I was smoking crack cocaine (just kidding)
2. I cannot watch scary movies at all especially ones with demons, devil worshipping or people who kidnap and hurt children. I get totally creeped out.
3. lemon soft serve in the summer and peppermint in the winter.
4. I don't recall ever going to a circus.
5. nuclear testing? i'd have to vote "no"
1. Cigarettes and coffee.
2. Nope
3. OMG, peppermint stick!
4. Of course, many times. Too many times, now; I feel sorry for the animals, and I really hate the noise and exhaust from that stupid motorcycles-in-a-sphere act. (But I do not understand why people don't like clowns. I love clowns.)
5. I try not to think of nuclear weapons at all.
1. Diet Coke. I can barely function in the morning without one.
2. No, except I went and saw "The Descent," and that made me unrealistically (because it will NEVER happen) terrified of ever being trapped in a dark cave.
3. Sweet Cream from Marble Slab. YUM.
4. Went once. Oddly, I love the circus, hate the clowns.
5. Why does anyone have nuclear weapons? Where are the people that approve of this?
1. Not realy an addiction. In law school, it was probably my serious addiction to SuperAmerica cappucino. good stuff.
2. I am also only scared of the dark if there is a scary movie. All i need to hear is scary music and i am scared.
3. Moose tracks. ice cream with caramel and little baby reese's peanut butter cups and more chocolate--it's all good.
4. i hate clowns. Yikers. We did go to circue du soleil though and i loved it (no clowns!)
5. I do not like anyone testing nuclear weapons.
Do you think anyone would actually answer "Oh, I think it's great that North Korea is testing nuclear weapons. I think everyone should do it! I'll bring the keg!"?? Ha.
I think that's a random list of questions. It's so mellow with hearts and butterflies, and then all of a sudden, BAM! NUCLEAR WEAPONS! FOREIGN POLICY!
Here's my rendition:
1. Have you ever had an addiction? Yes. It's called the Internet.
2. Are you afraid of the dark?
Only in the bathroom in front of the mirror when the words "Beetlejuice" or "Candyman" come to mind.
3. What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Ben & Jerry's Phish Food
Anything chocolate-based and creamy and gooey. Yummmm
4. Have you ever been to the circus?
Gah. Yes, hasn't everyone? But it was so long ago. All I remember was something about a pink horse in a cage that was hoisted in the air. I don't know.
5. What do you think of North Korea testing nuclear weapons?
Not in favor, as predicted.
I'll take Circus of the Stars over Dancing with the Stars or Celebrity Duets or Surreal World or Celeb Fit Club.... or any of those newer shows... anyday!!!
