Interactive Post

I am still alive, but I'm busy with work. I shall be back this weekend - Sunday night at least. Please think happy thoughts for me.

Are you going to do anything fun this weekend? We are supposed to get A LOT of snow, so I will hopefully make it home from work and then snuggle with H. What will you be doing?

My wife and I were planning this thing with midgets, a vat of butter and a couple of college cheerleaders and some licorice whips, but we couldn't find the licorice whips so it fell through.

I will be shoveling, most likely, due to the "LOTS of snow" you mentioned. Joy.

Edge's plan sounds much more interesting.

I'll be working (dread) and challenging the in-laws to an Ass Whooping at DDR!

No specific plans, for the first time in several weeks.

Our snow has been forecast as "some accumulation". It doesn't get much more vague than that...I won't be shoveling, because I have been banned from shoveling. I have some back problems, and several weeks ago I may or may not have exacerbated the problems by shoveling...Therefore hubby said no more shoveling.

If it's warm enough, maybe playing in the snow...

Holy crap! My mom was just telling me about all the snow you people are supposed to get this weekend.

I am going to wear ugly clothes, drink wine and run 5 million errands. Glamorous!

*happy thoughts for -r-... happy thoughts... happy thoughts*

I will be dragging my arse to the middle of the state where Daughter #1 has a show choir competition. So, basically, I'm going to be an idiot and drive right into the middle of the snow storm. I did wise up and get a hotel reservation there, so that I don't have to drive back at 1am. Or maybe we'll all get lucky, and they'll just cancel the whole thing. *I wish, I wish*

edge's idea with the vat of butter sounds more entertaining, though.

We're supposed to have bad weather this weekend, but since it's currently ranging into the 60s/70s during the day, it's going to be an old-fashioned thundestorm. Which doesn't need to be shoveled after, at least!

Hope things let up at work soon, R!

We've been invited by some friends to come over for dinner tonight, and tomorrow we're going to hang out with some friends who just moved into the neighborhood.

Oh, and wine. Copious amounts of wine.
