I Am Going To Punch LSU In Its Face

Well, I got some great deals today, but boy, am I tired after starting my shopping at 4 am.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. No. Waking up at 4 am is not something I would do voluntarily.

H went into work today, even though his office is closed (poor H has been working his heart out lately on a big case), and my mom and I lazed around and then went shopping at about 11:30. And you know what? All those crazy early morning sales were still going on. I can understand getting up freakishly early for a crazy deal on electronics that you need or the Cabbage Patch Kid your daughter is going wild for in the year 1985 (thanks, Mom!), but here is a secret. KOHL'S IS ALWAYS HAVING SALES. Where was I? Oh, yes. I woke up at 10 am and still got good deals.

After shopping, we came home and made awesome hot turkey sandwiches. Then we decorated the house for Christmas, and it looks awesome. We are waiting for H to come home, and then we will decorate the tree. Suddenly, I am excited about Christmas!

But do you know what I am not excited about? Football. No more football. I cannot take it any more.

I can do without football for awhile, but my husband goes to sleep with the sports talk radio station on, so if it's not football, it's baseball or basketball--both professional and college sports.

I am thankful that he does not care for arena football. I don't even want to think of the murderous rage I'd have in that situation.

Mike is watching the fucking LSU game (or was, until whatever football game is one next. I am also over the football.)

Sorry, but our Razorback family just had to gloat!

Aaron just went over to the neighbour's house and did the pig sooie thing (they're LSU fans) and the neighbour kicked him off the porch and said "No Hogs Allowed!"

There was not much Black Friday craziness in NYC. I was surprised, but Filene's Basement was fully stocked and pretty empty! I celebrated the beginning of the holiday season by purchasing three pairs of opaque tights and one pair of stockings for under $25 total. Whoop whoop!

We happened to see the end of the LSU game at a pub where, unbeknownst to us, they were having an LSU reunion party in Boston.

I thought there would be riots.

I was wondering how nice it must have been at Kohl's at 7am. The crazies have been gone for 3 hours, and the regular people aren't going to be there for another 3. However, I was getting ready for work, so there was no time to test that plan.

My guy hates LSU, despite being from Louisiana, so I was thrilled to be able to call him (he was with his kids at the zoo and not able to watch) and tell him they lost. Hee. (Not that I have any Razorback love or anything, but it's nice to see him happy. :))
