I Have No Title For These Ramblings

I bet you are on the edge of your seat. Did I stay up to finish my work on Sunday night/Monday morning, or did I go to sleep? Neither! I decided to go to bed, but then I couldn't fall asleep until sometime after 3:30 a.m., so I managed to not get any more work done AND not get any sleep. Smooth move there, -R-! But my project is now finished, and I am happy, so there was a good conclusion for everyone involved. Everyone meaning me, as I was the only person involved. But anyway. I don't think I have ever actually pulled an all-nighter. There have been times that I stayed up late (maybe 3 a.m.?), but then I just give up and go to bed. I am not what you would call hardcore.

H is very proud of himself because he called into a radio station today and got on the air. We just listened to it on the computer, and it was very cute manly. The radio people were discussing a recent case, and H called in to comment on some legal aspect of the case. He also totally lied about where he lived, for no real reason other than he is random. He also gives his name as "Diego" whenever he has to make a reservation at a restaurant. His name is not Diego. Nor is his name uncommon or hard to pronounce. H just likes to live on the edge by having a reservation-making alter ego.

H has also decided that if he were to become a boxer or UFC fighter, his name would be H "Let's Talk It Out" Lastname, and he would walk into the ring to the song "Why Can't We Be Friends." I think I would be -R- "The Bow Hunter" Lastname, and my song would be "Cat Scratch Fever." I also have a strategy. It mainly involves pretending to faint as soon as the first round starts and then just staying down.

I'm easily distracted and so I can't help but wonder if there's a reason that you are hyphen R hyphen and H is just H.

And also, Diego is an excellent alias.

Or is that dash R dash? Damn grammar rules! Where is Stefanie???

I always use the name "Jill" when I have to give it somewhere. There's no way that, like my real name, it can be mispronounced. However, "Diego" is badass.

Diego. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

WHEN is H going to do his guest post? We have been waiting and clamoring for all these months, and nothing!!

I don't have a reservation-making alias, but I do have a bowling name. (It's Shaniqua.) Everyone should have a bowling name, I say.

And also, I love that Sognatrice thinks I'm the go-to girl for punctuation questions. :-)

Diego sounds like a fine dining companion!

I should come up with an alias. People constantly get confused by "Laurel." It's so like "Lauren" or "Laura" and yet not.

LOL! I'll second noelle's '"Diego" is badass.'

You've never pulled an all nighter?? I think there were a few semesters in college where I was doing an all nighter once a week! I was queen of the all nighter. Also, queen of the caffiene.

Of course, apparently at age 24 I am an old lady and now can't stay up for the 11 o'clock news.

My husband and I have decided that if we were American Gladitors I'd be SuperNova and he'd be Flame.

love your respective strategies for the W: talking it out and laying down playing dead. BRILLIANT!

book restaurants under the name Obolenskivichy. Once they asked me to spell it. I said "Oh, it's just spelt as it sounds". Hmm.

Diego, the reservation-making badass? BWAH! Also, I *must* now come up with my own UFC name. Y'know, just in case.

My husband and I have bar names. When we go out, I'm Trixie and he's Dirk.

And your UFC names and theme music cracked me up.

Sognatrice, I am -R- because it is jazzier. H is just H because I type his name a lot more than I type my own, but it gets annoying to try to punctuate around the dashes/hyphens all the time.

Lawyerish, I have given up on H guest posting. I will bring it up again though and see what he says.
